hmm... today is sunday. another slacker day.

my sundays seem to be slacked away one, occasionally doing something, otherwise i'll just die in front of the comp.

yesterday ah, i went down to PA for the first time in three weeks. meaning i missed two practices le. then very sian. didn't get to talk to many pple, not even to yen chien or joel. in fact i think i only spoke to xiao yi and the comm pple and lao shi. go down there, vera give me four sets of new scores for the instana park performance. i went through two of them, then after that, went off with tsu yang, chong wu, yong hui and joyce to print scores. heard so many complaints from chong wu... quite apparently, lao shi had only given him the full list of songs on wednesday and wanted everything to be collected and photocopied by saturday. and tsu yang was down at the office printing for five hours and had only managed to get it half done. then when they came down on saturday earlier to print, lao shi suddenly wanted all the twenty three songs to be compiled, so that each person gets a compiled set of scores. the good news was, compiling was an uncomplicated task though ultra-tedious, the bad news was, some of the scores had been distributed and there was no way we could get them back without utter cunfusion. then even better liao, we had to reprint them. then me and yonghui knelt on the floor for about two and a half hours and sorted out the scores. and lao shi was damn pissed off coz we weren't fast enough. and he was like, why print so long still not done? but compiling was a huge process and there was no way we could give him any portion of the scores. coz we had to retain them to compile them properly. it was an all or nothing situation. and he wanted all in a short time... pretty much impossible. such that chongwu was like, i don't want to see his face. let's go back only after he has left. *sweat*. i can fully understand why xinying says that when you are a part of the comm, you don't get to practice anymore. especially the scores-in-charge.

i thought we were quite spoonfeeding the orchestra. usually, it would be just print print print, distribute, then you are responsible for making sure that you have all the scores, if you don't, go to your sectional leader, and she/he will check it out for you. joyce mentioned something, "i don't know what is going on man. when i was the sectional leader, i was printing and making sure everyone in my section had scores. now i'm the scores-in-charge, i'm still printing and compiling and making sure everyone has scores. what is the sectional leader doing?" haha. partly true. but then, this is what you've got to put up with man. hopefully i can get used to it sooner.

but it was a little unfair lah, considering that we have five pple in our comm who are still undergoing their orientation in the JC and it is impossible to make time out of the orientation. all of us were reaching home each day at eleven. and we were given two days to print twenty-three times four sets of scores and and hour to compile it all. and not being on task earned us a black face... haha, but it's all over and pray this will not happen again next year. thanks to xinying and grace who took time out to help us out and share with us their experience of compilaton. haha. i think it's just the beginning of the year when there is so much going on and so little time to handle it all.

this coming week is only lectures and no tutorials, so we're pretty lucky. the HCJC'ians lah, that is. so there should still be enough time for me to handle all the extra practices. when there comes a time that i can't make it anymore... i seriously have no idea man. school will alwys be my first priority, but what about laoshi... haha.

headache man.

oh then i went down to marina south with the AS team and the GGXX team for dinner. very nice. never hear wendy make so many crude jokes before one. in the end, our table was like, damn hentai. me and tessie we were still playing around with puns and stuff, but then wendy was like wow. she didn't even bother with puns lorh. make until me and tessie almost blushing le. then very qiao. naifen and 04S60 and 03S60 also there. haha, naifen very good at advertising. first time is with the chui da outing then they came to marina south to eat. then when their class gathering oso go steamboat, then he oso come and eat. haha, very nice. or maybe it's just the special price. haha. but anyway, kudos to him. it's still for the good of chong pang

p.s. wah... a bit whiny when you look at it man. and a bit too many complains le... *sweat*

okay, so let me give you a summary of what basically happened.

tuesday was when the fun all started... there was this telematch thing, in which we all ended up getting splattered with flour paste. or basically, starch solution/suspension. man, getting it out of your hair is a huge business. especially when your senior councillors decide that your pigtails are too cute and irresistably smear a whole plate of starch on your head and neck. but there are people who got worse hit, for example, those who didn't get the obstacle race as their last station, or got a different obstacle race. like me, i got the obstacle race where everone was supposed to jump into this pool made by a blue tub [some form of groundsheet] propped up by benches. then when i jumped in, i purposely fell in and took the chance to wipe off a majority of the starch on my neck and head, though the remaining still dried up and caused me to tear out a lot of hair in the process of removal. well well.

then wednesday i missed out on some of the activities in the afternoon, coz i had to go to KK Hospital for a follow-up appointment with my doctor. wednesday was quite bland, except for the Amazing Race which took place across the school. and when i thought it was good, on my way back home, Yong Jeng told me that RJC had an AR across Singapore. haiz. then we also came up with the script for out CT item. which is good. haha, spoofed a lot of movies. unfortunately, it didn't win any prizes lah...

then thursday the highlight was the War Game which i unfortunately had to miss due to falling sick. but during the period of the WG, me and two other CT mates painted the CT flag and managed to paint the entire flag within two and a half hours. so proud of it. yet, again, it won nothing. then we stayed back to rehearse and had a nice night walk to TCHS with Zi Hao, the senior. oh oh, let me tell you about the enmity between Faculty S6 and S7 [the math, phys fac and the bio fac respectively]. the fac colours for the two facs are yellow and green respectively. i'm a yellowian. so, i heard from the pple that like past years, the S6 fac head used some axe thingy to smash a watermelon with the letters S7 carved on it, then ate a piece of it. haha. quite apparently, last year, the S6 fac head did the same, and the S7 fac head ate a lemon. this is how deep the enmity goes. to eat a whole lemon just to show his determination to beat S6. childish. at least, a watermelon is sweeter to eat. oh, though we got trashed this year, S7 got trashed last year. but this year, we were so busy trying to zam each other that the Trident won... bang4 he4 xiang1 zheng1, yu2 weng1 de2 li4.

friday, that's today, half an hour ago, was mainly song and dance. i missed the scavenger hunt in the morning, coz i had to go to SGH for an appointment with the heart clinic. it seems that the doctors in KKH couldn't very well figure out what was wrong with me, or what to do. so the doctor in SGH told me about what i could do about SVT. basically, undergo some operation so they could put some wires through my viens/ateries to burn away some extra nerve in my heart that is causing a short circuit of my heart's electric pulses. quite appar4ently, it's only a minor operation with a success rate of 98%, so that's not a worry. then i returned back to school and learned some couple mass dance. then sang some songs, presented our item, and had the campfire. managed to get all the dance moves down. not bad, considering that i missed one dance session out of three during which they had to teach five mass dances. and the couple dances, thanks to my great partner, i got it right. or mostly lah.

well, there's one down point to everthing, and that is, that i was transferred out of this class i put my all into and into a class that well... what can i say. coz of the class quota system, xiao yi's class assistant Civic Tutorial group rep had to be transferred out so i could be transferred in. and she put in a lot for her class. and on the other had, the bad guy who caused her transfer was not given a chance before she was judged and branded over-enthusiastic by a few pple in her new class just because she put in her all for her previous class. it's two different names for the same thing. nice, dedicated girl and over-enthu, too hao4 sheng4 girl. this kinds of puts me off lah, to say the truth, but i hope time can straighten things out. if not, i'll just live with being ostracised the way i always was.

well, that's the summary of the week.

p.s. the quotes from now onwards may not be from the book anymore.

eh... can't seem to access my blog from anywhere these three days... don't know what the hell's up with blogger... but anyway. fell sick again... barely a week after i recovered from that horrible throat infection, i'm down with flu. on the eve of the fun orientation sommore. haiz.

will get to know my subject combi tomorrow. yay. heard that the computing and chem combi ought to have a class. if the numbers are insufficient, then the computing class will be merged with the double math double sci class. oh oh, mingwei told me today that he'll be taking the double math, physics and chem combi. kudos to him. haha. then when i first heard the news, i felt a bit inferior lah... like, i'll prolly not be able to make it even if i take the combi... so a bit sian. then i remember what boxing [yesh, boxing. bo-xing, lah, actually] told me. computing is considered computer science. it's one of the science subjects. so i'm actually headed for a triple science combi. haha. thought not the usual trip science lah, but it makes me feel better. so, kudos to me.

sniffling throughout piano lesson just now... this nose is giving me hell. wich i can just chop it off, then might as well wrap bandage around it, so all the blood and mucus gets absorbed by the gauze. then no need to bother with blowing my nose. haha.

then what else. oh, the school has an interesting counselling method. 24-hour SMS counselling service, credited to Mrs Lim, a mathematics teacher who loves to talk. haha. she even distributed her handphone number and said. it's a StarHub line, so feel free to call. erm. haha, one dya pple start stalking and spamming her then she know ah.

blogging all in singlish. so sucky. must revert back to my old habits of blogging in proper english. haha.

oh yeah... and the talks were so boring that shieh yuan and i had to actually go about memorising the school mission and drawing various anime-common emoticons. haiz. zer0 actually has them lorh, but she said her friend dl'ed it onto her comp, so she doesn't know where they come from. i really like the thriple line face and the sweatdrop face lorh. like, the green and the blue shadings done in classic anime style. so envious.
